We produce and renovate transmitters for HDD location: DigiTrak Mark, Eclipse, F2, F5; Ditch Witch Subsite 750/752. We also restore burnt and smashed, and even drowned transmitters. At repair, we may offer you variants to upgrade your transmitters: we may extend operation time or depth, increase power capacity or transform into another type of transmitter. We give 180-day warranty.
We give 180-days warranty under keeping the service rules (with exception of overheating or mechanical damage of the transmitter at drilling).
The transmitter is in the operating range but the positioning value is absent or does not change at roll
The transmitter is in the operating range but the display shows no data
The transmitter is damaged due to overheating at intensive drilling
When drilling is resumed after a pause, the transmitter fails to switch on
The transmitter is in the operating range but pitch value is absent or knowingly wrong
The transmitter has been mechanically damaged in the boring head and due to this damage it is faulty
Contact oxidation due to moisture inside the transmitter disturbs its operation
The operating transmitter has cracks and chips that will inevitably lead to failure
Instead of waiting for your transmitter to be repaired we offer you to buy an already restored one. For 18 years we have managed to collect an exchangeable fund of restored transmitters. The price for the restored transmitter is much less than for the new one. Moreover, we give you the 180-days warranty that is longer than the warranty from the factory (90 days). We may also offer you the transmitters which are not manufactured anymore (for DigiTrak Mark-III, Mark-IV, Mark-V).

86BGH transmitter — is a proprietary product imparting the best properties of the three transmitters: 86B, 86BH, 86BG:
We repair transmitters production of which has not been developed yet, for such location systems as LT, F5. Send us your broken transmitter and we will repair it. The period of repair is 10 days, excluding delivery time to us and back. At repair, we dismantle the transmitter completely; we replace the faulty or poor parts, calibrate, adjust and test with the location system. The warranty for this type of transmitter is also 150 days.
We extend transmitter operation time from the set of batteries. At repair, we reduce current consumption by 1,5-2- fold, thus, preserving other parameters unchanged.

We can extend the operating depth of transmitters on demand. On average, we can extend the operating depth of transmitters by 30% preserving their dimensions. By extending the operating depth we must sacrifice power consumption, though, we have already reduced power consumption almost twofold. As a result, the modernized transmitter will consume almost the same power as the original.
Together we will find a way to help you. Email to sales@hdd-electronics.com and tell us the type of location system you work with and the boring head with the type of transmitter you are planning to drill with, and describe the place you work at: depth and possible interference. We will give you advice on how to measure real depths with the location and the transmitter that you have at site. Then we will offer you the decision how to win your depth.
For example, at drilling under the river with F5 location you would need to go at the maximum depth of 28 meters. So, we manufactured the dual-frequency transmitter FXL12/19+ with the fortified antenna and the increased power for one of our Customers. As a result, using the lithium battery SuperCell and our TWIN battery, they went through the river in two steps with an overall length of drilling of 1077 meters.
